• Strongholds | How to Overcome Them

Strongholds | How to Overcome Them

Strongholds always lead us to isolation. We’ll come into hiding and if we’re not careful, we’ll only have relationships with people who instead of helping us overcome our strongholds they are fueling the stronghold. Meaning they will help you continue whatever your stronghold is and not help you overcome it. You need to get rid of all the negative people in your life and gain more positive ones. People who WANT to help you and WANT to support you to be a better you. As well as helping your walk with God.

How to become a strong Godly woman | Proverbs 31

I was going through all the notes I’ve taken over the years in my bible. I kept notes on everything from as far back as 2005, from when I got the bible when I was saved. For whatever reason, I flipped to the chapter of Proverbs 31. Proverbs 31 is about being a Godly woman in Jesus. It was a sermon from 2006! I’m going to start this new series if you must call it. I will ever pick topics from the past or something that is on my mind for that week. I really want to bring more God into my life than I have in the past and while…

    Pre-Order VeggieTales Noah's Ark

If you like to talk to tomatoes, if a squash can make you smile, if you like to waltz with potatoes up and down the produce aisle… Yup! I totally just sang that as I typed it out, if your family is anything like mine, we grew up on VeggieTales. We always watched it with friends, we sang it all the time. To this day, my mom will sing the songs to us to cheer us up. But besides the fact that VeggieTales has amazing songs, they have some great really great stories to teach your kids not only about God but every day lessons.

Reclaim Your Swagger – Judges 6:12

You know how hard it is to blog about anything God related these days? People always throw the whole, “Oh I’m not religious, so I can’t read your post..” What? I don’t consider myself a fashion person, you still see me supporting and commenting on fashion blogs, lol.  Anyways, I was watching Sunday’s morning sermon this morning and I wanted to post my notes for it, because it really ties into what I’ve been talking about in a few of my personal blog posts. It’s really a great message and who knows, you might just needed a little push today. Enjoy!

Put It On Repeat | Romans 12: 1

Sequence: Put It On Repeat | Romans 12:1 • Our thinking drives our living. Everything you say, you do begins as a thought in your mind. When the ‘hard drive is corrupt’ the living of your life is out of order. When your life is ‘corrupt’ everything in your life starts falling apart around you. If our thinking is off, we won’t be living the life God wants us to. • You have to break out of your poverty thinking or tradition thinking in order to get on the correct way of living. It could be the ‘viruses’ of life, a heartbreak, someone hurt you, so you hurt people back.…

    Go Back | 1 King 18:30-46

Sequence: Go Back It’s not about starting over, it’s about restoring order. Because life is better, when life is in ORDER. • When life is ‘out of order’ we may have more stress, anxiety, etc etc.. • We all worship something that gets our attention, but what God is saying is he wants to be first in the Order.
